Brickwork finished, electrical and insulation

The bricklayers have apparently finished, all electrical rough-ins (and my speaker cables) are done, and the insulation is nearly complete.

We are not so sure about the brick piers at the rear of the alfresco. They are as per the plan, but are  big and make the alfresco feel more like an extra room than part of the outdoors

Internal plastering is expected to start this week

More bricks, a temporary front door and a bath frame

The bricklayers have been making good daily progress - it was raining today and they still showed up and managed to do some work.

There is also still timber work going on inside, finishing up loose ends before plasterboard apparently starts next week.

By the way, despite appearances so far, the whole house is not going to be face brick!

Start of brickwork

The house was wrapped last week, and brickwork started on Friday

Dribs and drabs

Work is ongoing...roof tiles have been installed onto single story parts (garage and rear). Plumbing and aircon ducting is also being installed. Bricks have been delivered
