Framing officially complete
Framing is officially complete, and the top story roof has gone on, as well as a lot of the plumbing.

Windows and almost completion of framing
There are no bits of framing left outside, so guess it has all been installed. Windows have gone in as well. No idea what the pile of sand out front is for though.

First Day's Framing
Finally, something being built above the ground. This has been delayed due to an "industry wide shortage of framing timber", however this will apparently not impact the overall completion time. Most of the frame arrives in pre-made panels that get assembled on site

Slab Pour
After the rubbish weather of the past week, Melbourne put on a beautiful spring day for our slab pour - not a cloud in the sky or a breath of wind.
They started at sunrise and were done by 2pm. They seemed like a nice bunch, and their attention to detail seemed pretty good compared to some of the other slabs I have seen done around here.
