So we are ready to hand the house over to the demolishers.
We have moved out, and sold a lot of the fittings (windows, doors, central heating, pergola, water heaters, pool pumps, pool heating, kitchen cupboards, gates, plumbing etc etc etc.) - provided a nice little cash boost.
We then had to wait for the gas and electricity services to be completely removed by the relevant utilities companies, which is a waiting game - they won't provide any dates or timelines, other than "up to 30 working days". They won't even tell you when they have done the job, you have to keep checking.
We also had to provide the temporary fencing ourselves.
The stuff with safety tape around it is what we are keeping, ie the demolishers won't touch it (hopefully!)
